Thank you for this article! I sit with and meditate on trees in my own yard. Today came home to a neighbor having his chopped down and put into the wood chipper and I started to shake. My hands were still shaking a good 20 minutes later and I wondered what caused this. Your article helped explain this loss and “un-grounded” feeling.

Hi everyone This is a practice that I do myself , I Love trees and feel close energy feel with them I have a few tress that I speck to and hug it helps me feel grounded and we meditate together, It is a wonderful healing experience and i’m glad to see people agreeing and wanting to give it a try . You will be glad you did

im so glad to find there are people out there who love and appreciate trees as i do. i have never tried physically touching trees to heal, but i can totally admit how i feel there energies and how calm i feel around them. i feel at peace around trees. they are loyal and stand by us and the earth no matter what. just so happy that people agree with me

that is a beautiful idea i will try that practice- i am fortunate enough to live near the beatiful redwoods, so there are lots of good trees to hug.
trees are amazing as they reach above and below with power and grace
